In this book, actress Julianne Moore makes her debut in the literary world by introducting us to Freckleface Strawberry! This precocious little girl has to deal with her freckles and her nickname!
Julianne Moore writes with a talent that we wished she had shown us earlier! The series is also illustrated wonderfully by LeUyem Pham. A must-have with all kids and a story that the entire family will have fun reading!
The Raggedy Ann doll was first introduced as a book that was both, written and illustrated by Johnny Gruelle in 1915. And for almost a century now, these dolls have been little girl’s best friends.
Raggedy Ann was born when Gruelle’s young daughter came home one day with a rag doll that Gruelle drew a face on and decided to call Ann. He then went on to write and draw about Raggedy Ann and later her brother, Raggedy Andy. Gruelle’s illustrations became so popular that the Raggedy Ann doll soon became a star.
Today, you can buy Raggedy Ann calendars, dolls, books, and almost about anything for your kids. One great site that we came across was raggedy-ann.com. Happy shopping!
