The Bird Trainer is the most expensive toy ever made! With working parts which are handmade and movable only with cogs and gears, when Christian Bailley created L’Oiseleur, he went all out!

The doll is four foot high and draped in silk and velvet and has porcelain skin and high quality glass eyes. The Bird trainer also has birds which sit on him and move (by mechanics and gears alone), and even open and close their mouths to sing along!

The doll can only be wound up to sing with his special key and his sweet song comes out of a flute! This is one doll that needs to be handled with care! He costs 6.25 million dollars and is made in a Swiss workshop, taking 15,000 hours to create!
